We like talking about God as loving, patient, forgiving, and merciful, but not that He is also holy, righteous, and just. God is the righteous judge that will punish people for their sins. It is an uncomfortable truth, but is one that reminds us of the incredible gift of Jesus and the urgent mission of our lives.
