Episode 97 – A Full-Strength Rhapsody!
Here we thought all we were going to talk about was the happenings and announcements from AnimeJapan. Instead, everything else got announced, including stuff that happened after this show's recording - yes, we'll talk about THAT next time. So, with Andrew back from his "training arc" of sorts, we're back to full strength to talk about a LOT of big stuff, not just AnimeJapan - we have the Viz and Crunchyroll home video deal that's been a year and a half in the making, a set of new movies coming soon, a major series cancellation that may also lead to the untimely demise of one of our resident punching-bag studios in GoHands, some end-of-season wraps on some big shows that unfortunately stumbled in the end, Funimation getting a pretty big tennis anime and ALL of said tennis anime, and then there's Jolyne Cujoh summoning the inevitable return of JoJo Fridays.
