Today on the show I speak with percussion legend - Lenny Castro.

Lenny is an American based musician who at this point in his career is probably one of the most recorded percussionists in musical history, having played on hundreds (if not thousands of records). Some of the artists he has worked with include 'The Rolling Stones', The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, Toto, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Elton John and even one of my absolute favorites, The New Radicals - to name just a few.

In addition to his work with all these incredible artists Lenny also recently started putting out music of his own. His debut record entitled 'Hands Of Silk' is an absolute masterclass on percussion tone which I can't recommend enough.

During our conversation, Lenny and I talk about his initial introductions to music, his love of groove, AI, music careers, touring and even his relationship with the late great Jeff Porcaro.
