There have been many times when I felt under qualified for a job. When Solomon was anointed King over Israel, he felt same way. His father had been one of Israel’s greatest kings. Knowing his own inability, Solomon asked God for an “understanding heart to judge thy people…” In short, He asked God for wisdom.

God fulfilled Solomon’s desire for wisdom in a big way. Solomon was known far and wide for his great wisdom.

James says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men…” If you find yourself in a trial that it just seems as if there is no way to navigate through it, remember that God offers you His wisdom. The only catch is you must ask for it. Seek God for help, wisdom, and guidance. For as we trust in Him, He will guide you into truth.
