On November 9th, we released an episode talking about the Signal Mountain Murders. Richard Mason, Kenneth Griffith, and Earl Smock were murdered after taking a trip out on ATVs. Frank Casteel was arrested and convicted twice 10 years later. After we released the episode, Frank's son, Franklin Trever Casteel, reached out to us to let us know some of our information was incorrect. He was 100% correct. On this episode, we revisit the Signal Mountain Murders and try to cover information that was incorrect and left out.
Thank you Trever for reaching out to us and being so kind. Please listen to his interview on Wine, Dine, and Storytime as well as read his book Statement of Facts: State v Casteel.
