Double Tap Canada dives into the Apple Event this week, well, that is, as soon as Steven finishes his sandwiches...

First up is Apple TV. This video streaming service will be available on the 1st of November for $4.99 US a month and you'll also get 1 years free subscription with a purchase of an Apple device. With the promise that every show will have audio description, could Apple TV be the best VOD service for the blind & visually impaired, or could a lack of content be it's downfall?

Apple also announced Apple Arcade, another subscription service costing $4.99 US a month. For this price you will be able to download and play a selection of games. Tim is impressed but Shaun is far from convinced.

It's then on to the hardware, Apple Watch Series 5, iPad and, of course, the new iPhone 11's. Was the promised 'innovation' there or did it's invite get lost in the post?
