Episode 99: Do your HABITS align with your GOALS?

On today's episode of Empowered in Health, we go deeper on goals, habits and how our daily actions make a huge difference when it comes to pressing forward.


In my current Precision Nutrition certification, I'm learning a lot about the 5S Method along with the overall goals process. I share more about the "5S's" and how breaking down goals into simple, strategic, bite sized pieces are crucial when setting ourselves up for success.


I give a few examples related to wanting to work on my sleep routine as well as the idea of creating body composition change through eating better. While these are basic, simple examples - the overall concepts of evaluating habits in relation to our goals can be applied to literally everything! From setting simple goals to big, scary, out of the box goals - going deeper on the daily habits and actions that need to align in order to get there is one of the best self-awareness practices we can do.
