What a concept... Now: I still have a lot of learning left to do, but I feel really good about how I am integrating all that has happened. And I forgot to say: the woman I met downtown (halo!) I have seen TWO times since then. Which is honestly pretty wild. I walked around the corner going "I didn't even get her name!" and I saw her again. So we hugged. She's the first woman in need, that I have met, who DID NOT want anything from me. In fact I offered to help her, and she said she didn't want to put me in danger. When I got out of jail, she was the first person I saw (this time: by the soccer stadium, which is pretty far from the library/where we met. She's an older woman, with a walker, so it's genuinely kind of amazing I saw her when I did). She told me that a twelve year old girl was burnt alive (while I was in jail) RIGHT by my house. She knows who did it, too. She told me that she had a dream that a kitten died, and instantly was brought up into god's arms and brought into heaven. The next day she encountered a cat that wouldn't leave her alone, it wanted her attention and was leading her somewhere... so she followed (this is trusting God, btw). She ended up FINDING THE LITTLE GIRL'S NOTEBOOK, which included every name, number, the addresses of the people who did this to her. She kept a very detailed journal, evidently, and God isn't going to let JAN get away with this. (Apparently there's a woman named Jan, who likes to convince women to take drugs, and then men abuse them...)
