Sharing our thoughts is not always easy, but it is precisely (in my experience) how we grow. It's like the notion that iron sharpens iron, or whatever. Good friends will call you on your faulty logic, they (ideally) have your best interest at heart. So instead of feeling hurt, and making choices that are divisive: let's practice forgiveness.
It's a practice, not a perfect.
Expect discomfort.
Expect it to feel like shackles are coming off: of your heart, and your mind... while you may feel vulnerable, there's a rawness to it because you feel exposed. You have to retrain yourself to thrive within the ambiguity, instead of clinging to a comfortable familiar.
This is all part of the game, the dance.
