My Story, Vision, Mission and Style

On this very first episode of the Missional Man Podcast, I do an introduction to help share my story, cast my vision and mission, my style and approach, topics and guests I’ll have, explain my interview flow and what to expect, reveal my unique action round plan and invite you to join me. My Story

I was born in Orlando, Florida in 1981. I have one older brother. My mom is from upstate NY from a family of 10 kids. My dad is from Minneapolis, Minnesota with one brother. I was raised in a Christian home all my life. All I know is the modern, American Christian life. Living in a Christian subculture bubble for 33 years has had a significant impact on my own identity story and my ability to understand the world. I encountered the transforming love and grace of God a few days after September 11, 2001 when I was almost 20. The last 13 years have been one day after another of discovering false identities I’ve been believing in and plumbing the depths of who I really am in Christ.

I have been married to my beautiful wife and best friend for 10 years.

I have two precious little angels for daughters, one is 6 and one is 4.

I own a family business and am a hopeless romantic entrepreneur. I am a visionary and an idea guy.

I lead worship for my church and teach bible study small group on occasion.

I love music, film, documentaries, history, art, food and nature. Oh, and I bleed coffee!
