Either way is evidence of the lack of self-love and inner peace. If you're a person with low or no standards it will show in your choices, decisions, what you allow, and what you accept. Love isn't love when it's forced, abusive, disrespectful, shameful, etc. It's not love when it's based on superficial things. When standards are low or nonexistent it will show. All you want is the person's love, but love isn't what you're getting.
