Paul begins to wrap up his letter to the Colossians by giving them an opportunity to see sanctification being lived out first-hand.

Following the pattern from other letters, Paul shifts his focus to talk about sanctification.

In trying to be righteous on their own abilities, Paul teaches that even that will fail to defeat evil desires.

Hinting at the false teachings that are entering the church, Paul shares the profound mystery that people waited for centuries: Christ lives in us.

Expanding from vs. 13-14, Paul points out even more so the saving work of Jesus.

Paul continues to pray for the Colossians, urging them to continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
