Epitome Of Stupidity: Allegedly A Metal Music Podcast

This week we talk to Justin (bassist of Wristmeetrazor). We go over how the band got started, their influences, and how they're able to do what they do while living in different states. Our apologies as some interference did come through during the interview. Their debut LP Misery Never Forgets will be released 1-18-2019.

In the news Mastodon tries to get us excited for their new single, more bad news for High on Fire, and John 5 makes some ridiculous claims on the new Rob Zombie album. We wrap it up talking about some of the most anticipated albums of 2019!!

Huge thanks to Justin for his time and another thanks to the entire band (and Prosthetic Records) for letting us use their song In Line For Halos on this episode. Find them below!

Another short and sweet episode today! In the news we have Phil Demmels great escape (due to unfortunate circumstances) from Machine Head, some pop singer shares his opinion on something he knows nothing about, and the big return of that one ex-Korn drummer. We talk about the up coming FEAR FACTORY album and wash it down with a little Would You Rather.

Thanks for Domkraft and Blues Funeral Recordings for allowing us to use the song Landslide off of their album Flood.

We talk to Chuck of HAAN who has nothing but interesting things to say. Back stories of lyrics, album artwork, and a great insight on the band name. Sex, Drugs and Rock and roll in the news with stories of front row coitus at the Machine Head show and the backstabbing guitarist of Witchrot solidifying his name in the Douche Bag Hall of Fame. We review the new August Burns Red Christmas Album: Winter Wilderness and Unearth's new album: Extinctions.

Huge thanks to Chuck for his time and to the rest of the band (and Aqualamb Records) for letting us use their song The Woke off of their latest album By the Grace of Blood and Guts in this episode.

This is a very special episode as we are joined by our personal long time friend and now horror author Josh Kirk. We get an inside look on what it takes to write a book from the first chapter, to the last, and even the cover. In the news we talk about the Chris Cornell tribute concert and the Biggest Douche of the Year finalist Jered Threatin and his grand illusion (link below). We also review the new Architects album Holy Hell and talk about our top 3 drummers.

Huge thanks to Josh Kirk for coming out and talking with us. Another thanks to Psycroptic and Prosthetic Records for letting us use their song Directive in this episode.

In this 2 part series with talk with artists as well as Jadd from Magnetic Eye (who helped put it all together) about their part in the remake of the iconic Pink Floyd album The Wall. Appropriately named The Wall Redux, every song off the album (and even one solely from the movie) has been remade by a different group or artist. Some bands stay pretty true to the original while others put their own spin on their track. Every artist we talk to lets us in on their creative process in remaking a classic song as well as give us their future plans. Artists, the time they appear in the show, and links to find them are below.

Huge thanks to Magnetic Eye and all the artists for their time and participation in these 2 episodes... Cheers... and enjoy!
