Epitome Of Stupidity: Allegedly A Metal Music Podcast

This one is for all the bands (but not limited to just bands) out there who need that extra push to get going or even stay going. We talk to Matt Bacon who makes his living at doing just that. He drops some knowledge on things like 3 core mistakes bands make and how to get label's, and people in general's, attention. We even dive into the big question people always want to know.... HOW MUCH? (spoiler alert, not much) Thanks to him for his time and advice. Find him and follow him below!

Clint catches up with Horseburner before a show and has a pretty insightful conversation. They tell both tales of how they got their name (real and fake), the ever disgusting "what genre they fit in" discussion, and the super interesting concept that their new album The Thief follows (out now). We announce details of our album release party with Snow Burial and another Sonic Temple ticket giveaway. At the end Bryan gets a little personal and shares an impromptu instrumental song that he wrote on his late fathers guitar.

This weeks slew of songs brought to you by the following artists:

Avid concert goer? You've likely seen his work on the posters are the merch tables. We had him on before and more than glad to kick our 2020 off with him. Whats not to love with stories about meeting Neil Pert (and Paul Rudd), his new Ghost Boner toys, tattooing, and some Metallica stories among many others. Email us the key phrase in this episode to be entered in our Sonic Temple Music Fest weekend pass give away as well as some Ewing art!

Thank you to Deafheaven for allowing is to use their song Canary Yellow in this episode.

Whats up you beautiful people! We are back with another fun packed episode. We catch up on what we (and our band) have been up to and go right into a great interview with front man Ben of Snow Burial. He's got a great broken down band van story, talks about why they chose label backing, and even entertains the great genre debate. Huge thanks to him and the rest of Snow Burial (and Prosthetic Records) for letting us use their title track off of their new album Ostrava (out September 20th). https://www.snowburial.com

BIG SHOW NEWS! EoS will be changing up how we go about doing shows... details after the interview! We wrap the show up with reviewing the new Tool album (duh) and a little gear geeking.

Holy Heavy Batman! Couple treats in this episode... we start off with a conversation with the one, the only Joe Nunez, who is the former drummer of Soulfly, back with a brand new project called Return Fire... and he even brings along his friend Marc Rizzo to do guest solos alllll over the album. We are the first interview he has done in years so there was a lot to talk about! We talk about his beginning, middle, and end with Soulfly, what he did after Soulfly and now of course his new band Return Fire!

In the news we talk Tool (of course), COC drama, Metallica v. Cougar. We throw in a bonus snippet of End of Days from Act of Violence (https://www.facebook.com/actofviolence) off of their brand new album Unrest. Album is streaming now and if you live in the Columbus Ohio area we will be opening for them at their album release party August 17th. In reviews we talk about the new Slipknot and Russian Circles.

Huge thanks to Joe for letting us use Product of Abuse off of Return Fire's self titled about due out September 27th 2019.
