The 1st 30 minutes of this review are spoiler free. Everything after, we hope you've seen the movie because we spoil it. And the conversation bounces around a bit. But y'all are used to that from us at this point right? 

We were supposed to be doing a review on Morbius and Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but we changed our minds. The review is in there, so here's your warning: SPOILERS AHEAD. Aside from that, we talk about the downward spiral of a mess that is the infamous Oscar Slap. Everyone else already talked about it, so why don't we? 

A kind of quick discussion on new anime releasing this year, but then we dive into the evolution of the DCEU. It was a rocky start, but maybe they've finally found the formula that best suits them instead of trying to cheaply imitate the MCU. Or maybe, the DCEU should go even darker? Who knows, we're gonna talk about it, though. 

In honor of Black History Month we discuss the actors and actresses who have made a lasting impact through TV and Film. Honoring Chadwick Boseman, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, and Angela Bassett among many others, we discuss their contributions to media through the decades. And we discuss the changing representation of black individuals and showing we are more than the stereotypes Old Hollywood struggles to hold on to while we continue to thrive and show we are more than what they make us. 

The Crunchyroll Awards have concluded and with the dust settled, we discuss the winners and nominees! Admittedly many of the winners weren't surprising, but others were slightly disappointing. We discuss the underdogs who pulled through and snagged several nominations and awards, and we discuss the best of the best from last year's extensive lineup. 

Saint & Vendetta are out this week. But the rest of the crew were able to sit down and talk about a variety of subjects that we just didn't want to stretch out to full episodes. And now going forward we'll be every other week. So tune in every other Monday and sorry that this episode is late.
