There's a saying that any compromise between food and poison results in death. One could use this standard to extend the rule to a compromise between free speech and censorship, which will undoubtedly result in tyranny. The left in this country says it's for FREE SPEECH, but what it justifies in practice is wokeism and DEI at the expense of principles such as FREE SPEECH. The most recent hearings on Capital Hill regarding FREE SPEECH embody this very violation of principle.
