Why do people imagine that governments have some special power to solve problems? You can search far and wide and not find a single, real example where this is true, and yet the belief persists in modern societies. The politics of everything has been undermining our world for decades, but the negative results are accelerating ever faster. Whatever the planet has warmed pails in comparison to the costs layered on to society as a result of this preposterous scam. I'm not so sure the West will survive democracy and all the bonehead ideas that governments around the world have forced us into by decree.
