Employees are feeling stressed, sad, lonely, and angry at alarming levels. Would it surprise you to learn that 50% of employees are watching for or actively seeking a new job? Boundaries for balance is a concept that has been around a long time. So why are we so bad at setting boundaries. It is actually because setting boundaries to enhance our balance in life and work means we have to say no. Most of us are not good at saying no because we have been taught to help when we can. We feel obligated. Most importantly, there are emotional drivers attached to setting boundaries. We don't want to disappoint others or hurt their feelings. We feel guilty or selfish if we say no. That kind of thinking needs to stop. You can achieve boundaries for balance without being selfish.
Emerging from setbacks is one life skill we all need to develop. Setbacks can be anything from making a mistake to losing a loved one. Life is full of setbacks, but emerging from them can be something we do better. The emerging starts with a mindset that chooses to accept and move forward. Setbacks do not have to be permanent. We choose the emotional environment we live in.
Your confident self - starts with understanding that confidence is an emotion that can be grown and developed. The most confident people have an awareness of self that allows them to navigate emotions that are not productive to intentionally cultivate emotions that are productive.
