Having the right tool for the right job makes things so much more efficient. Collecting the tools you need will depend on what you do and how your practice works. Sometimes you get tools and then they never get used. We have a thermography camera we spent a lot of money on and it sits in the closet because we find it really didn't fit into our practice. If you choose a specific tool learn as much as you can about how it works so you can explain to clients so you don't end up with unrealistic expectations. We have been using kinesiotape since the 80s and on animals since around 2012. We initially tried to use human kinesiotape on animals but could not get it to stay on longer than a few minutes. Rocktape came out with a tape they called H2O and it was for triathletes so it would stay on underwater. This is how we knew it would be perfect for animals and it was.
