  • It's Not Only Size That Matters

    It is not only size that matters when dealing with animals. A very large dog requires different approaches in handling, supporting and adjusting compared to a very small dog. Same with ponies versus a draft horse. Saftey of both the animal and the practitioner always have to be taken into affect. Having dealt with so many animals across the spectrum in size, attitude and flexibility you learn how to do things to fit the case in front of you. Look at each one as if you have never seen it before. It is too easy to get locked into patterns and do the same thing every time. Be present and work with the animal in front of you.
