Edith Conyers has spent her life devoted to the prosperity and future of horses and the countryside of Kentucky. She has followed hounds with more than 60 packs across America and overseas, some of which as Joint Master of the Iroquois Hounds in Kentucky. She developed a reputation for turning ordinary horses into well-rounded field hunters and has also produced several sport horses including the eventer Potroon that was later ridden to international success by Torrance Watkins. Edith became well-known as the first Executive Director of the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event from 1976-1985.  Listen in...Support the show

As a member of the Royal Mews he spent 20 years working for the royal family as a coachman. Sunny Hale has truly transformed polo on and off the field. Sunny was the first woman in U.S. History to win the US Open Polo Championship. Sunny is seven time winner of the Polo Excellence Awards: "Woman Player of the Year".  Sunny attained the highest rating ever given to a woman (in the history of the sport) of 5 Goals, after winning the US Open Polo Championship with Outback Steakhouse Polo Team in 2000. Mildred Farris is a pioneer and legend throughout the sport of rodeo. As a competitor, Farris was Texas Barrel Racing Association’s champion barrel racer from 1955-1957, she earned a qualification twelve times to the National Finals Rodeo and in 1968 she earned the fastest time at the NFR.  Mildred was active in the Girls Rodeo Association (later the WPRA) as the Director, Vice-President, and President. Farris has served as rodeo secretary for many top rodeos, she was named Secretary of the Year eight times by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association and inducted into four Halls of Fame.
