“La Dj”, a nickname given by close friends, was encouraged by other musicians and DJs to try DJing, as they noted her excellent taste in music and understanding of musical theory, which La Dj likens to many years as a singer in National Honor Choirs in the United States and Costa Rica.

La Dj learned spinning vinyl with the trance and progressive house genres. After less than a year, La Dj began playing at clubs and bars and was invited to form part of a recognized DJ crew in Atlanta, wherein she was one of the only two female DJs.

After several life-altering experiences, La Dj took an extensive hiatus from the decks stating, “there were many significant deaths around me, and I just wanted silence.” She eventually found inspiration again and returned to DJing with a different fervor birthed by years of silence in which La Dj began experimenting with Deep House, Deep Tech House, and eventually Downtempo. These days, she is considered one of the Rising Stars in the Downtempo scene.

Although no longer playing strictly vinyl, La Dj’s mixing is freestyle and always impromptu. "I loved digging for vinyl and putting records on and making them work together with nothing but keeping your eye on the record and using your musical ear to mix, which freestyle mixing lets me do.” Currently, La Dj is focusing on podcast recording and playing local events and has plans to continue singing and eventually producing.

In a world where you are now barely authorized to question, to think anything by yourself, where manufactured "truth" is implanted in your mind by force, and where the slightest act of resistance leads you to be shut down immediately, censored in your word as well as in your simple possibility to live on the money that you thought you had earned and was yours... stay a WILD MIND, my fellow human being !!!

Cezar Bury delivers today a wonderful EP, where organicity fuses to electro, coming with 2 edits that widen the spectrum of musical genres, from a soft downtempo edit by Mandrùva to an epic Techno edit by Ny Alves and URANNIA. Please enjoy ! And Stay wild!! 🐧❄️🎵❣️

Costa Rica born and Valencia-based music curator. As an all-time music lover and collector, began his journey in the dancefloor at a very young age tasting diverse music scenes and electronic music genres around South America, Central America and Europe. In 2020 he started to experiment by himself with the DJing craft and started a journey at DJ Lab Musical Academy in 2021, taught by the hand of experimented DJs from the Costa Rican local scene. After moving to Valencia, he started to play at small parties and venues, including the legendary Valencian Club Spook, where he performed at the garden, demonstrating his potent selections and warming up skills.

Leon Casba’s musical taste offers versatility by exploring and digging into a vast range of the electronic music spectrum but mainly driven by deep baselines and minimal sounds. Recently he started a video mixes series called Deep Room where the main focus is to bring the best underground sounds in deep and minimal house music.
