Lenz (https://soundcloud.com/lenz_musik) is an electronic duo formed by Irish DJ & producer (DJ Joma) and German vocalist, songwriter (Moon Aton). Working together since 2020, they have enjoyed several successful releases to date on labels such as Colour & Pitch, Personal Belongings, 3Bridge Records, Nordic Voyage Recordings, M-Sol Records, Suprematic Recordings, Nicksher Music and Be Adult Music (Ibiza). With a string of releases already scheduled for 2022, it promises to be a bright future for Lenz.

Their monthly ‘Night Whisper’ Podcast show seemed like the natural progression of what they have been doing, and thanks to the help of radio stations like Pure Ibiza Radio, Ibiza Global Radio, Bloop Radio London, Boogie Bunker Radio (Tenerife), Estacion Ibiza Radio, Data Transmission Radio, Radio Zoom (Berlin), Graffiti Kings (London) and Like That Underground (Germany), it has developed brilliantly, and helped bring the Lenz sound to all corners of the world.

Atmospheric, raw, and cinematic, Lenz is comfortable taking you on an exciting journey and making you sweat on the dance floor. Never afraid to go too deep, their emotional, dreamy melodies and poetic words will invigorate your mind and soothe your soul.

Having grown up on their individual eclectic combinations of European electronica and synth-infused 80s music … all which became infused with their own love for electronic music, Lenz have ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.

Today, after working together closely these last two years, this translates into DJ sets and production releases where they pick apart and infuse together all the pieces of this music that they love best: beautiful synth work, lush backdrops, brooding basslines combined with Moon Aton’s haunting ethereal vocals… all on top of pronounced foot-shuffling house beats and chilled ambient tones. Together they create the very essence of their signature sound, an emotional and organic contrast of dark and bright, deep, cinematic, genre bending styles, rich in melody and emotion.

In their own words…

“This is the story of Lenz.

A strange story full of coincidences.

Of dreams and reality.

Of beauty and passion.

Of longing and desire.

Of laughter and tears.

A German girl … an Irish boy.

In search of the perfect beat and the right words.

A story full of dreams and hope.

Driven by the desire to bring beauty into the world.

And even if their music reaches few at the beginning …

It was worth it all if it made just one heart dance with joy.

A story within a story.

A dream within a dream.

This is the end of this story … but the beginning of the next …”

You can never take the passion for music away from DJs who have lived the experience and have that itch to always do more. That itch became an insatiable urge for DJ Producer and label owner Daniel Button(https://soundcloud.com/user-194061) and despite a lengthy time away from the scene, he has returned to the fray like a man reborn.

Strangely it was the pandemic and the emergence of virtual festivals that rekindled his flame and now there is no turning back. His style of Deep, Minimal House is ever present as he blows the cobwebs of his imprint N.O.N. Music with his Berlin-based partner The Pushamann; a relationship which has endured for over 25 years. Releasing a slew of tracks before temporarily shutting down the creative juices, the London borne artist has now relocated his craft to the German capital of electronic music showcasing his wares to brand new audiences.

Bringing his dynamic, fluid and versatile style to the Berlin crowd has seen him spread his magic dust at venues such as Golden Gate, Paloma, Sisyphos and more. His energy and dedication to deliver a solid groove to the dancefloor is now bearing fruit in the studio with extraordinary tracks locked in for release.

Beginning where he left off at the label he lovingly created, there is no doubt that the future looks incredibly bright for Daniel Button; not only as a DJ, but as a producer riding the crest of a wave. As 2022 enters the second half of the year, watch the horizon as N.O.N. Music delivers on all of those promises made over a decade ago. This is a positive that will never go away.

Since his early steps as a DJ in the legendary parisian Palace club in the middle of the 90’s, PIERRE DE PARIS (https://soundcloud.com/pierredeparis) devoted himself to electronic sounds. He mostly played in Europe for bars, clubs, festivals and major events as the Gay Pride. His style in two words : house & techno ! He masters various genres, from deep house to melodic techno. From the vinyl periode to the MP3 area, he is still making “real mix for real mix lovers”. All this time, he met great creators of dance music. Even if some labels asked him, he decided not to become a producer, considering that the release of his tracks would not change the history of music. He prefers to concentrate 100% on his DJ sets, always promoting the finest electronic music of the artists he admires. This attitude makes PIERRE DE PARIS a very respected man : after 25 years of carreer, he is considered as a reference on the underground scene in France.

Today he offers us a beautiful melodic techno mix, which is also a tribute to the french producer TEHO (founder of the label LABO T).

Our guest of this week, the talented ✶Silent SHE✶(https://soundcloud.com/silent-she) shares an extremely beautiful dream with us.

She comes from Media Art, has developed audio installations. Also from writing, first of all poetry. Her present project is called AutoPOETRY, writing poems, recording it and putting it together with sound.

Her passion and dedication to electronic music takes yet 30 years. Somewhere, the dream to play music by herself, she was too busy dancing. Watching the Dj at work, merging with his machines, like a cyborg.

Now she is trying to make her dream of mixing music and tell stories come true.
