Jonathan follows up on last weeks teaching about living in the fruitful, abundant land where glory dwells. He states that offense is one of the primary killers of blessing in the church today (Satan can conquer if he can divide). Starting in Luke 7, he defines offense as a trap of Satan that brings many people into captivity. The core of all offense, like all sin, is pride - thinking of ourselves more highly than we ought.  James 3 has a short, but powerful teaching on this topic, outlining two types of seeds - two types of wisdom - one from the earth and one from heaven. He shares a real-life example out of Numbers 12 where Moses brother sister were offended and jealous and how the Lord (and meek Moses) responded. The choice is yours: Take offense - or Take the Lords rich blessing!

Starting off with the story of Lots wife, Jonathan teaches about the dangers of turning back after we have said 'yes' to Christ Jesus. In Psalms 85, we find Reminders of Gods past mercies, Requests in prayer, Requirements for peace, and the Resulting effects of glory dwelling in our land. All are found in Christ Jesus - the Good Land!

Dick brings a word in season concerning the cross of Christ. In John 5, Jesus says all scriptures testify to Himself! From the Abraham Isaac story, to the Passover and blood on doorposts, to the life blood of animal sacrifice - Jesus is at the center of every page in the Bible. He is the bread from heaven!

In this teaching, Jonathan explains the difference between Old New Testament prophetic ministry and gives some examples of common means of revelation. He emphasizes the importance of each part of every prophetic word: Revelation, Interpretation and Application. He uses a personal example of failure and one of the different applications of the same word in Acts 21 to demonstrate the point that mature prophecy takes practice. He finishes with four practical and biblical helps on testing, weighing and examining prophetic words.

Matthew brings a word based on Matthew 16:17-19.

Starting with a recap of the last year of teachings, Jonathan then picks up where he left off in his last sermon - prophecy begins with a listening ear. We must not be uninformed of the gifts the Spirit has given. Isaiah 50 says our ear must be wakened before our tongue can bring a word that sustains the weary. Hearing believing the first voice (the gentle voice of our Shepherd) prevents us from listening to the second voice of a stranger.

Sam takes a moment to discuss how one walks out life's struggles.  Using biblical text as a basis, he reviews how several individuals stewarded hard times and how a focus on the bigger picture can reveal God's work in progress.

Jonathan shares a short encouragement about fruit coming in winter months ahead and how we must be purely and simply devoted to the Man Christ Jesus if we will make it through to the end.

Sam discusses developing an intimate relationship with the Lord as metaphorically portrayed in Song of Songs.

Jonathan introduces a new season for Equip by teaching into the biblical history of the prophetic. He starts with the headwaters of prophecy in Numbers 11, and then unpacks some Old New Testament definitions as well as some of the original (and not-so-original) controversy surrounding this precious gift to the church.
