The Bible's origin is from God. God is the author and inspiration behind scripture. In this episode we are going to see how this applies to the Old Testament. Specifically, we are going to learn how we got the Old Testament and what confirmations (proofs) exists that point to the Old Testament's origin being from God. 

The Bible plays a pivotal role in the Christian Faith. It is through this wonderful tool of God we have access to God's Special Revelation. Understanding the origin and how we got the Bible will help us in establishing a proper attitude towards God's unique tool of scripture. An attitude that is foundational to our faith. 

In this episode we learn about the second component of God's Divine Revelation, which is Special Revelation. It is through this revelation we can confidently know who God is and enter into a relationship with Him. It is because of the tool of Special Revelation we can know the way of salvation found in Jesus Christ. 

We all live in the midst of it. It is continually calling out to us, revealing the truth of God's existence. Speaking to us with a voiceless voice. What type of Divine Revelation is this? What is its purpose and goal? During this episode we continue our pursuit of understanding God's Divine Revelation. During this episode we explore God's General Revelation. 

In this episode we begin our first official series of the Equipped Podcast & YouTube Channel. How does God make Himself known? How does God reveal the truths of the Christian Faith? How can we know anything about God? It is by the grace of God's Divine Revelation. Divine Revelation is the tool in which God makes Himself and the truths of Christian Faith known. A proper understanding of God's Divine Revelation is essential and foundational to our faith, which is why it will be the focus of our first series. 

What is a disciple? From the Great Commission we see the importance of making disciples. We see the importance of discipleship and that we need to be discipled. However, what does that look like? What does the heart, motivation, and attitude of a disciple of Jesus Christ look like? These questions and more will be answered in this episode of Equipped as we look at a foundational feature of being a disciple of Christ, the attitude of a disciple. 

As we move forward in our journey of becoming equipped there are some foundational things we need to understand and continually reflect on. One such aspect in the purpose behind being equipped. We find this purpose in Jesus Christ's Great Commission to His Church and all of those that are apart of it.
