There is so much that can be said in Philippians chapter 3! Good news, we are digging deep in this pivotal chapter and Paul has a lot to say! Especially about what value Jesus Christ is to him and unfortunately how little Jesus means to many in theology today. I ask for some of your time beloved as we explore what Paul gave up that many men today will not; all for the pursuit of being found in Jesus Christ.

The best way to protect the church is to deny religion and theolofy from penetrating the body fo Christ. Why? Because with human tradition, comes social influence, political agendas and far worse. The pulpit becomes contamintaed, the body of Christ becomes weapoinized against the very society we are suppose to fish for men in and Jesus's name is stained. Part 2 of why man not only can answers God but must!

Why did God place the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden? Why is this question and answer the core of man's inability to say "he didn't know about God's commands?" This is a direct debunking of Reformed Theology's false teachings on the doctrine of moral inability. Man must and will answer the call to repent from God. Because God doesn't give empty commands. We are in Chapter 3 of Philippians today with an actual walkthrough of Paul exercising his sole dependence on Jesus alone. Being a well known Pharisee and persecuter of the church, Paul now shedding everything he knew for the sake of Jesus gives us hope. Hope that we too can do as we are expected. To live by faith just like Abraham. It is a long episode with some meaty truths where we can see Paul act on his faith in the face of insurmountable adversity. Happy Easter, Resurrection Day-however you choose to say it. I am just glad the tomb is empty. speaking of the empty tomb lets talk about what happned outside the buriel site of Jesus.
