Errata Sonata

Jeremiah has his first bad take. Titanium confirmed by David Guetta. We talk a little about the new player experience and delve into community action.

It’s been a while but we’re all back together on the podcast. We do a recap of Noah’s time in LA.

Recorded straight from LA, Noah joins us with two guest hosts. JB and Nolan host the often mentioned Security Checkpoint. We discuss nationals, our experiences, and the grand finals. Join us for a great episode, make sure to follow Security Checkpoint and check out episode 35!

*Disclaimer* This episode was originally intended to be published before Nationals. While Noah is competing at the National Digimon Championship, the rest of the hosts Ian, Jeremiah and guest host Julian discuss what it means to be a competitive player. Open deck lists, playing with a timer, bluffing and providing Noah with the rules to be successful in competition. (Interesting that the hosts NOT at nationals have all the advice)

Noah leaves to get some milk and his broken family is left to pick up the pieces. Join Ian, Jeremiah and guest Julian as they struggle to stay on topic for even 2 minutes while Noah completes his pre-nationals solo training arc. We get into the price of Totally Spies merchandise, the power of speculative markets and how market manipulation can be a viable career path.

Agency. What it means to each of us and why it’s important in games. It’s debate night so come listen in on us convince each other of our own viewpoints on the subject. We touch on the decisions you’re presented with in games and micro decisions affecting the macro of the game. We add some “noise” to our ending let us know what you think.

We talk about loops then we talk about loops then we talk about loops then we talk about loops.

Ian and his special friend Julian come on the podcast and talk about mtg. Happy Holidays!

*Disclaimer this episode was recorded before the most recent Digimon limited list* We talk about the new additions to the banlist and mourn for poor purple Gabumon. We discuss how much we draw in the digimon card game and what that means for card advantage. And then we get weird..

We talk about the best ways to acquire cards, the difficulties we face acquiring them, and find out how bad Jeremiah is at math. Also trainings are huge.
