Another week, another kinda chaotic round of Destiny updates from the ECB team. OK, look, we didn't intend to take 3 weeks off making an episode. We had good reasons though, which we get into at the top of the show. Then it's a bit of a run through our last few weeks, talking about various Vow of the Disciple attempts, then some bits of seasonal story, and other assorted achievements in the world of Destiny. We're still a little all over the place with the Witch Queen stuff, but we've now had more than a full week with the game, so the thoughts are a little more together on this one. We talk through our journeys through the campaign, our times leveling up, and preparing for the upcoming release of the Vow of the Disciple raid.

The day is finally here. Savathûn, her Throne World, and the Witch Queen expansion have arrived in Destiny 2. We've had a few days to get used to all the new stuff and to get through the campaign at least once. The episode is like our approach to the game in the opening week so far: a little bit all over the place. We touch on a bunch of very spoilery story stuff from the campaign and other activities around it, so tread lightly if you want to experience that yourself for the first time and not have us half-remembering things get in the way of that.

At our new time of Sunday morning, here's our final episode before Witch Queen drops. As has been the case for the previous few weeks, we've got a number of surprisingly meaty updates to cover. Destiny is looking pretty good right now. Witch Queen is just 2 weeks away, and despite last week apparently being the last big TWAB before the release, this week saw a number of very interesting items come out of Bungie HQ. New trailer format? We've got it. Big Void 3.0 update post? Yup. A classic Bungie ViDoc with yet more details? You bet. Join us as we go through all of the above, and start to really set our eyes ahead to Witch Queen.

Due to some Life Stuff™ this week, we only finished recording this a mere 5 hours before it went live. That's not ideal. In order to make our lives easier if we need to adjust our recording time, we're going to shift our release time to Sunday mornings, 10am AEST. Set your clocks accordingly.

3 resets to Witch Queen, and Bungie saw fit to announce a whole bevy of big stuff this week. We've obviously got the news of Bungie joining Sony, a very big and meaty TWAB to discuss talking about weapon crafting and tuning, as well as some general vibes to absorb from a Game Informer interview with creative director James Tsai.

We're 4 resets away from Witch Queen hitting Destiny 2, and this week there's more new information and details about it to be discussed. More specifically, one interview with Game Director Joe Blackburn which went into some very interesting details related to weapon crafting, Savathûn's Throne World, Hive Guardians, and more. We pulled out the things that intrigued us, pick them apart, and get sidetracked at nearly every point.

Then, to finish, we take a closer look at Meckii's quest log. It's bad. Real bad. I don't know what else to tell you. You'll just have to check this one out to see what I mean.

We heard tell that this week's TWAB would include some very interesting updates (to us, at least) regarding upcoming changes in Destiny 2 with the release of Witch Queen, so we held our recording date back a day to be able to talk about that. The outcome? There's a lot to talk about and given that we haven't talked about last week's TWAB either, this is a long episode.

Whether it's power level announcements, Orbs of Power changes, or the upcoming raid launch date, there's something in here for everyone!
