Episode 38 - James Davis

As leaders move up in their team or business, they have fewer opportunities to spend time with their frontline workforce. Making the most of team interactions at the Manager level and above becomes increasingly important, and Ben was lucky enough to see James do this as the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2014-2016). James had a significant impact on Ben during this time, and the example that he set shapes the way that Ironside Coffee works each day. He proved that a deliberate approach to interacting and developing the team scales to all levels of leadership.
