The Bible says that the wrath of God is coming. We need to move ourselves away from being a potential recipient of God's wrath. Thank God we can be saved from the wrath of God through the blood of Jesus!

Let's open our Bibles to Ephesians chapter three.

Times are perilous: wars, earthquakes, tornadoes, fire, giants, fallen angels. Everything is happening as Jesus said it would, and it makes you want to escape to heaven, but are you ready to escape? Jesus said, "Pick up your cross and follow Me," and that's how we escape. Get ready, guys!

Escaping to heaven is kind of difficult when you are also running away from the Creator of Heaven. One might consider repenting before judgment and walking in the Holy Spirit so we can receive the blessings instead.

There is always confusion or lack of understanding about the "kingdom of God" versus the "kingdom of heaven". From the Bible, the kingdom of God is about your personal walk with the Lord and living a righteous lifestyle. Faith is the primary factor as we walk with the Lord that we please Him, and we can't judge each other's walk. The kingdom of heaven, on the other hand, is a location, maybe not physical like earth, but still a place we are desirous of living in eternally. Holy Spirit, Jesus and the Father/Creator reside in heaven, not to mention those who believe and accepted Jesus.

Our ears HEAR the Word of God but our hearts have to OBEY the Word of God.

Let's take a look at the life of Hezekiah today. We can learn a lot from his example.

The bible teaches about the kingdom of heaven and how the wise virgins were ready, went into the marriage, and were accepted by the bridegroom; whereas, the foolish virgins had no oil in their vessel, tried to go buy some, were not allowed into the wedding festival and were not known by the bridegroom. Jesus will reject believers who are not wise as well. Wisdom starts with knowledge, which is the fear of the lord. Today, we discuss how to live as a wise virgin.

There is a way to be in this world and still be Christ-minded. Let's take a look at Jesus's parable of the prodigal son.

Given the tumultuous nature of today's living literally experiencing Matthew 24 as Jesus described - rumors of wars, earthquakes, floods, famine, and pestilence, right now, the believer wants to escape to heaven, the physical place. However the believer has to understand that heaven the kingdom of God is within them and the world needs the light of Jesus to shine through them out into the darkness of today's lifestyle.
