We thought we were still in the early doldrums of a new Survivor season, and WOW we were underprepared for the season's 3rd episode to come out swinging so hard! We were absolutely gripped to our tvs for this one. Between the insane and dangerous challenge sequence right through the most chaotic tribal council, this one left us with SO much to discuss. 

So we're doing just that! Talking all through the aforementioned challenge & tribal, and all of the moves that played out along the way. Some major speculation about what we feel may happen in the fallout of this week's events & our takes on who we feel came away with the most damage.

Welcome back, Escaping Reality Fam! Can you believe it's time for another season of Survivor already!? We hardly can, but we're so ready for it. 

We're doing something new (for us) this time around & giving our first impressions of the Season 42 castaways -- based on the CBS cast bios, social media content, + other preview interviews/media. We're loving these castaways so far & are so eager to watch how they play the game.

Welcome back to Escaping Reality! After some much needed New Year's rest, we're back! While we wait out the weeks until the next new season of Survivor... we thought it would be fun to have a more general conversation about a genre of reality competition show, rather than focus on one show in particular. Since it's Valentine's weekend, we thought the perfect type of show to discuss would be the infamous reality dating show! 

Now, we're covering both reality dating competitions + shows, and of course explaining our feelings on what the differences are and what make for better watching experiences. We did it, fam! we've come to the end of this much-anticipated and historic season of Survivor. We were so excited to discuss it, but so sad to see it come to an end! With a 3 hr finale episode, we had LOADS to get through - yet somehow managed to distill all our thoughts into a comprehensive recap.

Of course we're talking about the journey to the final vote & our feelings on everything that happened along the way (especially where the final 3 players are concerned). But, we're also reflecting on the season as a whole + what we hope to see going forward.
