We're Merged, Baby!!! but we have a long way to go...

It's halfway through season 49 of Survivor and Jeff can't stop reminding us that season 50 is just around the corner. But we have to focus on what's happening HERE and NOW and what's happening HERE and NOW is a lot of re-hashing tribe dynamics now that all our castaways are living on a merged beach. In classic new-era fashion, we're giving SOME of our friends a bad meal, taking a commercial break during a 2 part challenge, and working on 1 of many steps to a beware advantage. We're catching up on Season 49 Episode 4 & our patience is wearing thin (I'm talking to you, Jeff). There is still plenty to cover this week with a Tribe Swap!! Shaking up the alliances always leads to some interesting dynamics, though we're not huge fans of how the numbers played out. But, we finally get a challenge without a puzzle!!! That's a win, even if the reward was crap (in Sophie's eyes AND ours).
