We take turns reading another gospel from the apostle, Daniel Quinn, this time from the holy book, “My Ishmael”, in which Ishmael explains part of our culture’s history to Julie by describing an imagined planet named “Terpsichore”. It was interesting exploring our own evolving views through this short tale. As always, Quinn gets us thinkin’.

A sort of follow-up to my solo attempt to give listeners a window into a week in the life of a rubber tramp last season, we recorded a week of our life in (and out of!) the van together this Spring. Panhandling. Backpacking. Hitchhiking. The good, the bad, and the ugly... it was quite a week!

We met Rachel during a wild cordage workshop we were leading, hosted by an intentional community named Common Ground. Turns out that Rachel is building her own community, The Rainwater Collective, and we were very happy to visit her community and to record this interview in their sunny garden.
