Beloved in Jesus Christ: "Eschatology" is "the study of last things," things that will happen at the end of the world. Now the Bible does not give too many details about the end times, because God does not want man to become preoccupied with eschatological events since man has work to do now. Our Lord said that you must "occupy" – be busy with his work – until he comes. With that said, God does say SOME things about "end times" matters. Why? God does not want his people to be totally ignorant of this matter, because eschatology, properly understood, is a comfort to Christians and it makes them bold, especially when facing persecution, as in Muslim, Hindu, communist countries, and even Canada today. Specifically, when you know terrible days won't last forever, and Jesus will win… and you know the joys that are ahead… you will be comforted and made bold to face challenges now! In the 1st sermon you heard about the order of the events at end times, specifically, when Christ will return and what will happen on earth. Today you will find out what will happen in heaven when Christ comes. Our headings are: 1. All men will make a personal appearance before God 2. All men will be personally judged by a holy God Our goals are: That on properly understanding what the Bible teaches about the end times you will find comfort during persecution and be encouraged to faithfully serve the Lord.

One day you're going to die...
