Hi Friends! Thank you to those who have given us valuable feedback, we absolutely love hearing from you listeners. Today's episode is our second episode, and last, of the "Shop Talk" series. We expected you all to love Christina and this series just as much as our "Big Business" series with Michelle (Estrojen), but we never expected the amount of engagement and discussion we are receiving and we love it! This episode is all about the technical ideas of Shop Talk and we go over some of the most asked questions by skaters. We love you and good brunch!

Hey friends! We're back with another long episode, of course, because we love rambling! Listen in to this episode, you won't regret it, we promise. We talk about Ash's big injury (spoiler alert: her skates may have saved her life) and why we've been gone for so long. We also discuss injuries, recovery, and recommendations we have as people who were once injured. Don't forget you can now call in! See below for the number.

Hey y'all! Thank you to those who have stayed with us while we go through some changes and "construction." We hope you enjoy the first part of another series we titled, "shop talk." We plan to have many more conversations in both the treehouse and actual shops in the area and speak with some of the larger local shop owners about their experiences and knowledge. As always, you can contact us on Instagram or via email ([email protected]) with any concerns, thoughts, love letters, or heck, even maybe just a video of you skating! We love you and good brunch!

Hey friends! In this episode, we discuss some corrections from the last episode and finally address what makes US queer. We hope you find the topic relatable and are excited about our *very, very late* episode. Individuality and self-expression are very evident in the skate community, so we address some of those examples and why the community is heading in the wrong direction these days. Please enjoy, and GOOD BRUNCH!

Hi Skaters! In this episode, we have the unique opportunity to discuss AAPI hate with our guest star, Kayla, and get a better understanding of her struggles as an Asian American. We also address the infiltration of hate in our community, and how we are so strong to stand up for each other. Join us in our light-hearted, easily-digestible episode and as always, GOOD BRUNCH!

Join Ashleigh and Trey in episode 8 of Eskate from Reality! We're so excited to introduce you to our *virtual* guest star this week, Maddie Eaton (@punkygirlsk8s). In this episode, we discuss how skating helps us balance our physical and mental health. Maddie explains her battle with a skin excoriation disorder (a disorder related to OCD that causes someone to habitually pick at their skin). With such a disorder, her physical appearance changed and her insecurity made it hard to be in public without questioning judgment. However, with skating in her life, she was able to come out about her battle and show her true color behind the scars. As always, good brunch!

Hey skaters! We're absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from an expert advocate and educator in the disabilities community, Dr. Danielle Mireles! In this episode, she guides us in the journey of learning to be better skaters and dissect ableism at its core. We hope you listen and learn just as much as we did from this episode! Thank you so much to @mrnicegirl (Danielle) for allowing us to speak to her and for giving us the opportunity to hear so many important solutions to bring the community closer.

Hey skaters!! We're so excited to bring you all this unique opportunity to learn about the industry side of roller skating. In the first part of this two-part series (at least for now, hint hint), Ashleigh, Trey, and Michelle talk big business and the fight to start Moxi Roller Skates and how the industry has tackled the demand during the pandemic. Listen in to this chit-chat type conversation between our hosts and Michelle Steilen. We hope you love hearing their stories as much as we did and be sure to follow Estro on Instagram for more information and to see them skate @Estrojen . Part two will be LIVE on March 11th, 2021!
