According to Alex Kurtzman, the advantage of doing 10 episodes per season in Modern Trek is that you eliminate filler episodes – those that fall in between the classics in order to get your season to its 22 – 26 episode order. But “fillers” have their place too! We’ll talk about what each of us considers to be filler eps, some of our favorites from the past, and whether we think (in spite of Kurtzman’s feelings) that Modern Trek has fillers too! Join us for what should prove to be a fun topic that’ll likely touch upon every Star Trek series.

It all starts with an awkward breakfast and then HOLY CRAP things are blowing up. Can Malcolm and Archer navigate both a physical minefield and their emotional minefield as Malcolm finally confesses… ah just kidding. Anyway, Romulans.

Batman and Robin escape Chandell’s trap. Once back in the Batcave, they deduce his plan to get the Wayne family fortune by killing Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, then marrying the rightful heir, Aunt Harriet. In order to trap the villain, Bruce and Dick fake their own deaths. However, Harry has also figured out his brother Chandell’s scheme, and desiring the Wayne fortune for himself, concocts a plan to masquerade as his twin brother.

A year ago we interviewed filmmaker OLIVIA SERAFINI-SAULI on the completion of her film Endless Calls For Fame: The Story of the New Rising Sons. Since then, that film has found North American distribution and is now available on all major streaming platforms in a slightly reworked / updated format. We catch up with Olivia to learn about her journey over the past year — clearing the rights to all the music, what went into getting the film picked up, putting together the gala screenings, and the joy of seeing her film on the big screen. It’s a conversation you don’t want to miss! Endless Calls For Fame is the story of a band from the New York 90s scene who got signed to a major label and were poised to be the next big thing, until … it just didn’t happen.
