There is a spiritual war being waged in the heavenlies. What we fail to realize is where heaven and hell are located and what our part is in the whole thing. According to esoteric teachings man is a battle ground between good and evil.

If you haven’t come to the place where you can allow people to speak into your life without having to defend yourself the door to transformation remains closed to you. Self-justification and self-defense are children of self-love.

Mechanical man has the nasty habit of judging others. Esoteric teachings show us how those judgments boomerang on us causing more damage to our possible development than we imagine possible.

Some folks live there lives simply wishing to be happy. There's little lasting happiness when we look for it in life. Esoteric teachings train us in another form of happiness that is lasting.

Gurdjieff talked about the terror of the situation. For a long time these are only words. There is a time for being terrified, not for everyone, but for those who apply the ideas to themselves.

Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?

Who is it causing all these little ones to stumble and go astray and what can we do about it?

There may be more to being faithful than it first appears to us in an outer, life way.

There's a dragnet in which all are caught, great and small, good and bad alike.
