Jones established six new Portland State records on offense as a senior and in two years he threw for 5,798 yards, 41 touchdowns and led Portland State to its first ever eight-win seasons (8-3 in both 1975 and 1976).

Bruce Barnum, head coach of the Portland State Vikings, talks about tomorrow's matchup with the Rainbow Warriors, and highlights his quarterback as well as some of his massive o-line. June Jones, former UH head coach and former Portland State quarterback, adds more on tomorrow's matchup and his predictions for the Ching Complex opener.

Portland State Football head coach Bruce Barnum joins The Sports Animals to discuss his team's season opener against the Rainbow Warriors, which will be the Vikings' first game in over a year.

Wardell pitched collegiately, has his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Oakland University, is the Medical Throwing Director at Overhead Athletics and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
