This is the inauguration speech done by noted Malayalam author and freethinker Ravichandran C in the Annual District conference of Kerala Shasthra Sahithya Parishath at Govt HSS Parashala, Thirupanathapuram on 8.4.17. Ravichandran here talks about the fast spreading darkness in the society of Kerala due to increasing rate of religiosity and anti-science campaigns. KSSP has big role to play in redeeming the situation. But, whether the required effort is generated is a compelling question to ponder over, says the speaker. Ravichandran calls upon all the progressive forces in Kerala to unite to thwart the looming threat of caused by the snowballing theocratization of the body politic.
