Essentials Life Habits - Proven Life Skills To Live By
All I can say after reading this book is WHEW! When you read this book, you'll have a more extensive understanding of habits and how or why it's important for you to know. In this book, the writer points out three main components of knowing, "Essential Life Habits"...the meaning of habits, the purpose of habits, and the good and bad parts of habits that will create you a better lifestyle. You will discover that "Change" is the key word in this book, and I agree with the writer, (some habits can't go exactly like that) you can't change overnight. You can look at it this way; change is not easy, but it's obtainable. So without further ado, let's get started.
This book spoke volumes to me in these three ways: (1) Developing My Life Skills: never give up on knowing who you are physically and spiritually, (2) Building Great Relationships Around Me: getting around people who are doing the same things you are doing; and the last thing (3) Boosting My Confidence: no more bowing down to the voice of the enemy in and around me, no more low self-esteem of myself.
In a negative way, I use to cringe at the word "HABIT," but now I understand the benefits of "HABITS" in my life in a positive way. The true meaning of "HABIT" - (paraphrased) it's just ideas, thoughts or activities that you repeat over and over again (good or bad). It's like acting a scene out of a play every day or every time you recollect on a situation or trauma - you're rehearsing or practicing it in your mind or lifestyle.
I believe if you read these twelve chapters and habit steps with an open heart, you'll start seeing some changes in your own life, but that's up to you if you truly want change throughout your life. Now, know more you have to read the book for yourself.
I can say, here's a book I can put on my list that I truly like. This book is a quick read and straight to the point.
