As we tackle the essentials of Christian growth, "prayer" is the first on our list to help us mature in knowing God better and trusting Him more. Still keeping in mind the maturing mindset of asking ourselves the questions "Where am I at?" and "Which way forward from here?", prayer helps us to see where we are and how to take our next steps forward. Prayer helps deepen our love for God and love for others. Through the teachings of prayer, we see that it is essential to our lives as Christians and it helps us to walk like Jesus.
