Well, here we are. Our final episode of 2024. What an incredible year we have spent together, journeying through all kinds of growth. It’s probably one of the most profound years of transformation we’ve had on this planet, with lots of lessons learned. So, I’m so happy we are here to celebrate the end of this year, together.
I start this final episode of The Soul Frequency with a big discussion on 2024, including what transitions we went through before I deep dive into grief and loss with the wonderful, Meghan Jarvis.
Meghan is a successful podcast host, TEDx speaker, and trauma-informed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in grief and loss. She is the founder of The Grief Mentor method and is the host of the podcast Grief is My Side Hustle. She is the author of End of The Hour, a memoir on trauma, loss, and healing, but today, she is on this episode of The Soul Frequency to discuss her newest book, Can Anyone Tell Me: Essential Questions About Grief and Loss.
In this conversation, we discuss Meghan’s experiences with grief and how this led to her work in grief and loss psychotherapy. We discuss Megan’s book, Can Anyone Tell Me, before diving deep into a discussion on moving forward from grief and some of the griefs we may feel when becoming parents. Meghan stresses the vital importance of grief education, before she explains her 10 steps to feeling your feelings. We then close with a lovely conversation on how grief can make us who we are.
Thank you all for a wonderful year here at The Soul Frequency. I hope you have a lovely holiday season, and I’ll see you back here in 2025.
(00:48) Reflecting on 2024.
