- “Everybody likes BEING up early but we don’t like GETTING up early”
- There’s nothing juicier than starting your day with fresh energy and feeling “ahead in time” before the day has started
- In the end, it’s just a short moment of pain
- The alarm goes off and you feel like “This can’t be right” and then there’s this tiny moment of “staying in bed or turning off the alarm and starting your day”
- As a women empowerment coach, I strongly believe that morning routines are essential for achieving happiness and well-being.
- And for actually doing the things you always want to do but “never have time for”
Disclaimers on morning routines
- You don’t have to be a morning person if this goes against your cycle
- But you can sure as hell commit to waking up 15 minutes earlier to start your day grounded and energized
- The perfect morning routine doesn’t exist
- We are all different and we need different things in the morning: Full permission slip to do you!
- We are cyclical beings: My recommendation is to have 2 different morning routines. One for low energy/PMS days and one for high energy days
Effortlessly getting out of bed action plan
- Step 1. Get a real alarm or place your phone far away
- Step 2. Drink a glass of water
- Step 3. Zombie task like brushing your teeth
- Step 4. Motivation boost/ grounding music
- Step 5: Get out of your PJs
My morning routine nuggets
- Journaling
- Affirmations
- Making yourself a smoothie
- Stretching or light exercise
- Morning Dance
- Morning Walks
- Reading or listening to something inspiring
- Offline mornings
- Mediation
- Having a cold shower
Last tips & tricks:
- Leave your comfort zone because this is where the magic happens
- My recommendation is to pick a couple of habits from today’s episode, write them down on your long list and vibe check with them by trying out 1-2 every morning
- Pick your vibe check habits the night before
- And just play around for a week
- until you have your own list of your magical morning
- and to just have so much fun with it!

- Tip 1: Remove any friction: Prepare everything the night before
- Glass of water
- Put your journal out
- Have your playlists ready
- Put your yoga mat next to the sofa, so you can roll it out in the morning
- Tip 2: Don’t let one mistake turn into 2
- It’s no problem if you miss one day of your routine but I refuse that this becomes an excuse for you to let go completely
- Tip 3: Get yourself an accountability buddy
- Send this podcast episode to a friend of yours or multiple friends or everyone you know lol
- Ask them if they wanna be your morning buddies.
- It’s so much more fun to go on this journey together and motivate each other to stop snoozing and unlock our magical mornings
