There are a great many differences between life in the Old Testament days and life in the year 2025. Today’s study in Esther is a good example. A Persian Monarch gave a great feast...he wanted his wife to show off her femininity to his pals, and she refused, so he kicked her out of the palace. You’d have a hard time getting away with that today, wouldn’t you? Through all of this, of course, God was at work. That’s one thing that hasn’t changed.
