s we've been making our way through the seven trumpet judgments recorded in the Book of Revelation, we've seen a pattern emerging. With each trumpet, the judgments get progressively worse. Likewise, we are currently living in the last days and we can plainly see that the conditions of the world are getting progressively worse.

Fewer and fewer pastors today speak of the wrath and judgment of God. Many choose to focus on His loving kindness, His forgiving heart, and His redeeming grace. While those are indeed aspects of God's character, so is His fairness in judgment. In the future, there will be a time of judgment upon the earth such as has never been seen before. The good news is that believers in Christ won't be here for the judgment to come.

Imagine the sun and the seas turning red, catastrophic natural disasters, major disruptions to the earth's ecosystem. Actually that's what the Bible says will happen! And the Bible's success rate at predicting future events is absolutely and unequivocally one hundred percent. It's with that in mind that we turn to Revelation, chapter nine

Pastor Jim Jarrett has titled today's message, "Four Terrible Trumpets." Each of these trumpets represents something important and pastor Jim will shed light on what they are for us today.

We don't mean to scare anyone, but what begins to happen in Revelation chapter eight signals the beginning of the end for this world. Of course, as born again believers in Jesus Christ, we won't be around for the terror and destruction signaled by these trumpets. That's the good news found in an otherwise dark and dreary picture painted in this section of Revelation.

As we live in this age of God's grace we need to be prepared and know our role as Christians in the times ahead. We don't know what day we will see the events of the end times take place, so we must be prepared. Open your bible to Revelation seven as Pastor Jim looks again at the numbered multitude, and the unnumbered multitude.

As we move to Revelation chapter seven in our verse by verse study through this amazing book, we see a time out. In chapter six we've seen the vision of coming death and destruction, and in chapter eight, another wave of judgment begins, but in chapter seven we have a break.

Today pastor Jim Jarrett continues his series in Revelation with some very blunt commentary taken from chapter six. We've been discussing some pretty sobering realities about the future of those left behind to face the tribulation period. This should serve to spur us on even more in our prayers for our loved ones who have yet to put their lives into the hands of Jesus Christ.

It's really not our job to try to figure out God's motives. We are to trust Him because He has demonstrated time and time again His incredible love for us and even backed it up by allowing His Son to take our iniquity upon Himself. Revelation is a fascinating book, to say the least and it contains some pretty amazing prophecies about our future. The Bible carries a one hundred percent accuracy rating when it comes to prophecy, so, logic tells us that everything in the Book of Revelation will indeed come to pass.
