Indian markets ended lower on Friday as pharma, real estate, and auto stocks dragged, offsetting optimism over falling U.S. interest rates and oil prices. Sensex closed 320 points lower at 76,190 while Nifty 50 shed 113 points to end at 23,092.

Indian markets closed higher with Sensex up 115.39 points (+0.15%) at 76,520.38, and Nifty 50 rising 50 points (+0.22%) to 23,205.35.

Indian benchmark indices closed higher, with the Sensex rising 566.63 points (+0.75%) to 76,404.99 and the Nifty 50 gaining 130.70 points (+0.57%) to 23,155.35.

On Friday, Indian benchmark indices took a hit, ending a three-day winning streak. The BSE Sensex closed at 76,619.33, down 423.49 points, which is a decline of 0.55%. Meanwhile, the Nifty 50 index dropped by 108.60 points, or 0.47%, settling at 23,203.20.

Banking and auto stock rallies led indices higher for the second consecutive session on Thursday. Sensex gained 318.74 points to close at 77,042.82, while Nifty rose 98.60 points to settle at 23,311.80.

Today, we’re looking at the Indian benchmark indices, which closed higher for the second consecutive day. The BSE Sensex gained 224.45 points, or 0.29%, closing at 76,724.08. The broader Nifty 50 index rose by 37.15 points, or 0.16%, finishing at 23,213.20.

Indian stock markets bled for yet another session today with Sensex down over 1,000 points at closing while Nifty50 settled over 340 pts lower.

Today, we saw the Sensex and Nifty ending in the red, and it wasn’t a pretty picture. The market faced, uh, significant selling pressure, particularly in the financial and energy sectors. Overall, all sectors were in the red today, except for IT, which surprisingly saw a boost, up about 3.4%.

India’s benchmark indices closed in the red today. The BSE Sensex dropped 528.28 points to settle at 77,620.21, while the Nifty 50 declined 162.45 points, or 0.69%, to close at 23,526.50.

The BSE Sensex dipped by 50.62 points, closing at 78,148.49, a 0.06% drop. On the other hand, the Nifty 50 index also saw a slight decline, down 18.95 points, ending at 23,688.95 or a 0.08% decrease.
