Tumbleweeds. We do our best this week to find things to get upset about, other than the fact that shipping dates for cool things are still ages away and Cyberpunk isn’t out yet. Don’t worry, we love whinging about gaming, so expect a fair amount of that this week on the EBP.

Topics include; Rogue Company and how to/not to create a mashup game, whether you can keep a single game running indefinitely, esports viewerships, question if esports are even sports, Oculus Quest 2 account login dramas, and NBA2k unskippable ads.

But seriously, where are the 3080s already?!

Inspired by coincidentally recording on Budget Night and the fact that upgrade season is upon us and many others, we discuss various strategies for ensuring you get the best value when upgrading your PC or even TV for your gaming experience.

There were also Squadrons warring in the stars, so we chatted about that as the main gaming highlight for the week. Finally we Crash our way through news and chat about Geese in a Warzone that’s at least a third Wasteland.

Back to video gaming news this week, and damn, is there a lot to talk about! Liam, Mike, Steve and Dave espouse prophetically their beliefs on the great pre-order debacles of the past week, and Microsoft’s big move in acquiring Zenimax Media, and recent games we’ve played.

Heads up, no episode next week due to time constraints. But hang in there, we’ll be back the following week!

As Epic and Apple go to war over the walled garden approach, and we await the imminent announcement of Nvidia’s next generation GPUs, the EBP crew tactlessly tackle the touchy topics of the video game world.

This week Mike, Liam, Steve, Dave and Jorge touch on the COD trailer ethics, wrap up SGDQ, ‘valuting’ content, bush tripping, and a raft of games we’ve played.
