A podcast discussing the Eternal Card Game by Direwolf Digital.

This week Jedi talks about how he is able to salvage a train wreck, or when half way through a draft you look at your deck and realize that you have no idea what direction you are going in and/or have huge gaps in your curve. This podcast will give you techniques and methods on how to mitigate those problems and still have a playable deck that can win you some games! As usual the shout out, pack one pick one, and what’s the play segments are still in helping us all get better at Eternal limited! I hope you enjoy and hopefully we can do a mechanics breakdown and set review on flame of Xulta soon!

Drafting in set 6.5 in Eternal Card Game by Direwolf Digital can be quite interesting with the amount of power and influence fixing in the format. This opens the door to creating fun decks with 3 solid colors all the way up to even 5 color good stuff archetypes. So with that being said power bases are extremely important and not really something you should just go by feel with. In this episode of the podcast Jedi breaks down the actual numbers on how many sources give you x chances of playing all your off color splash cards on curve and the tools needed to adjust any of your future power bases.

As always the shout out, what's the play, and pack 1 pick 1 segments are included and you can watch the video version of this show on YouTube. Enjoy and as always happy gaming!

One of the funnest things about Eternal Card Game limited is various board states, mechanics, and combination of cards that lead to multiple decision trees. Twist and Warp are both mechanics in the Trial of Grodov format that make for interesting plays and incremental value gain. In this weeks episode Jedi does a deep dive into both of these mechanics explaining why they are fun, interesting, a value engine and also when it might not be in your best interest to activate them! Along with that is a small mention of the only spoiler for set 7 as well as our standard shout out, P1P1, and what’s the play segments! Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!
