I have been in church since I was a kid. I have heard the

preaching of God’s word from the time I could understand English. Yet I find

myself praying for people and not operating in the faith that I should have.

When Jesus sends His disciples out to in pairs of two to

minister to every city, there is a great lesson taught.

When they returned, they told of how the demons were cast

out and the sick were healed.

Then Jesus instructed them and rejoiced.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.Luke 10: 21-22 KJV

He had taught them and demonstrated His power and authority

to them. Them they returned having operated in the authority He gave them

through faith.

We have been given the same authority, but are we walking in

the same demonstration.

Is it a lack of faith on our part?

Have we failed to hear the truth of God’s word even in the

midst of having listened to God’s word all our lives?

What do we need to do to fully trust Him and step out into

the unknown.?

In today’s modern church, finding a gathering where people

are in one accord is almost impossible.

Everyone has their own revelation; they have their own

denomination; they have their own style of songs. The list goes on and on.

The Kingdom of Heaven is not about division; it is about

unity.

On the day of Pentecost, they were all in one accord in one

place when the Holy Ghost came like a mighty rushing wind.

 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17: 20-23 NIV

 Christ prayed that

the believers would be brought to complete unity.

It is time we focus on what unites us as children of God

than what separates us.

It is possible to have unity amid things we do not agree upon.

The key is to understand each person has their own viewpoint.

Most of the division in the Kingdom of God is not from the

works of the flesh or the devil, it is from personal views of the scripture.

We try to take up the Word of God and defined our viewpoint.

Because we feel we need to prove to people what His word says.

  The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”Jeremiah 1:12 NIV

God does not need our help to validate His word; He does not

require us to defend His word. God can defend His word and watch over it all by

Himself.

God did not call us to defend Him or to make sure His word

was protected, God called us to be the living word.
