When you unravel a couple of verses, the scriptures give you rest and you see an all loving Father. There is correction, but its always to turn people back to God. We don’t need to “convert” people. We need to “convince” them of His unconditional love and their inclusion in Christ Jesus.
We need to stop making God out to be a tyrant, which has caused more people to walk away from the truly good news than almost any other church teaching.
